Indispensable at festive occasions, Giardiniera is a classic Piedmontese appetiser. It is prepared according to a recipe handed down through generations, carefully selecting tasty vegetables accompanied by tomato pulp, spices, olive oil, sugar and wine vinegar.

Giardiniera Ghiotto Galfrè is prepared exactly as it once was: the result is a delicious starter as it is, and even more appetising with the addition of tuna and olives. It can be eaten cold or lukewarm: warm the jar in a bain-marie to cool it down.

In addition to its classic role as a tasty appetiser, it can also be served as a side dish for white meat dishes.
