We select the best fillets from the sea of Sicily for this speciality. The yellow tin is unmistakable, as is the unique taste of our Anchovies in sauce.
Anchovies became part of Piedmont's culinary tradition via the Via del Sale (salt route), the link between the Cuneo area and Liguria. This speciality retains the intense flavour of yesteryear. The anchovies are caught in the sea of Sicily, deboned, rolled by hand and seasoned with a sauce prepared according to the company's secret recipe.
Try them on bread croutons baked in the oven and lightly browned. If you want to enhance the flavour of this speciality, add a veil of butter on the bread.
Semi-pasteurised: the product is not pasteurised, storage in a cool, dry place is recommended.
