Polenta with stew and mushrooms

Preparation time: 90 minutes

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 400 g. of polenta
  • 400 g. of sausage
  • 400 g. beef
  • 2 Condighiotto/Superpasta jars 180 g.
  • 200 g. tomato pulp
  • 1 leek
  • Olive oil


Boil water with a bit of salt and olive oil. When the water boils, add polenta and continually stir in order to avoid lumps. A whisk may be used.

In another pot, sauté the leek with olive oil. The leek needs to be washed and chopped tiny pieces. Add the calf stew and sausage and let it cool for 15 minutes.(until they have browned).

Add two Condighiotto/Superpasta jars and mix together with the tomato pulp. Let it simmer for half an hour and stir occasionally. Add a bit of salt before it is fully cooked.

Serve it with hot polenta.
