Porcini mushrooms of the genus "Boletus Edulis and its group" just blanched in water and vinegar, according to the typical Piedmontese tradition, and preserved whole in olive oil. Ideal for aperitifs or as a side dish.
Currently available with Porcini Aereus and Pinicola ("black head") and Boletus Edulis Aestivalis ("light head").
Whole Porcini Mushrooms in 4 kg amphora jars are scrupulously selected and hand-processed in our factory by attentive and experienced staff. This Ghiotto Galfrè speciality preserves and re-proposes the traditional flavour of Piedmontese preserves: the vinegar during the cooking phase gives the porcini mushrooms a unique aromatic touch, while the olive oil guarantees optimal preservation of the whole potted mushrooms.
Delicious as an appetiser or during an aperitif, they can be used as a side dish for white meat dishes, or alongside sliced and raw meats. The large format makes them perfect as a gift idea, or for the needs of those working in the catering sector.
